Waste master hose

I have read the hose on the cornerstone with the wastmaster valves is to short. Has this been corrected in current production units?

Waste master hose

They are a lot longer on current production. I still recommend you carry an extension because you will find campgrounds place sewer hookups in all kinds of places, even at the rear edge of the coach. And since the theford hose is unlike any other on the market you may not be able to pick one up when you need it. I got mine from Amazon for about $30, they are over $40 at camping world. And as a bonus it comes with an end cap to prevent drips when you stow it, something missing from the factory, All JMHO. 🚌🚓

I could never get mine not to leak at the junction to the adapter that fits into the ground. I replaced everything to no avail. I also wanted the option of a longer hose when needed.

My solution was to amputate the terminal end and attach a standard bayonet type connector. I now have a leak-free connection to the ground and can extend the hose using cheap hoses available everywhere. Not optimal - but it works.

Guess i am lucky. Mine leaked a little first time I used it. Took it apart, cleaned it seated it tight, tightened the bayonet fittings, no more leak. Likely the jury is still out online, will see what happens when I have toads the extension. 🚌🚓
