Chuck,

I put in the Flojet Quiet Quad II water pump along with two 18" braided flexable lines.

Thanks Don, I have already added an 18 flex hose, but it didn't quiet the pump down much. The Sureflo use to be very quiet, the all of a sudden it started making noise. Added the hose with not much results and decided it's time to change the pump before it quits.

Chuck,

Here is a picture of my present setup. The pex lines coming out of the back wall have to be securely attached to the carpeted wall to stop vibration. The lines behind the wall are long runs so I found putting a length of pipe foam on them helped as well to quiet the whole system down.

Thanks Don, I printed the photo. Lucky break, CW just sent their catalog with a $10. off coupon, good time to use it.

Good idea on the pipe foam, I have a bunch of it up at the hanger

I am really glad this post came up. I forgot my water pump started making noise for no reason, add flexible hose, then decided to replace the pump before it failed. I had forgotten about it before this post. After reading the posts, it sounds like Sureflo is not the pumps they use to be. Sure appreciate the feedback from others and thanks for reminding me to change the pump

Remember with Aquajet that if you have a problem you have to return the pump through the dealer you bought it from, you can't return it directly to Remco. I had several go back (back flow valve went out). That was on a prior coach. But if I have it again I will put a back flow valve in the line.

I don't have an Entegra, but how do you get to the lines behind the walls to add pipe foam?

I think he was using it as a noise insulator and not for the actual pipe or pump itself.

I have access from the wet bay just forward of the fresh water tank.

I'm having this put in by NIRV Atlanta on April 4. Seems to be be as well regarded as any out there. I've already had my OEM pump replaced once under warranty.
