Okay, so I tackled this job today. Removed the screws holding the water bay panel wall on the right side (there are a total of 20 screws), I removed 1/2 of them. Unfortunately one was stripped out completely so after trying a screw remover (didn't come close to working) I used my Dremel to cut the top of so I could move the wall, moved it to the outside a couple of inches to help reach the backside screw.

Then using variety of tools (most important was an powered angle driver with several long extensions going to the 3/8ths screws). Thanks to surmotor for the heads up on there being only 3 screws and thanks to RBR for lending me a few tools that I didn't have.

But it is all now finished and put back together and the hose goes in great, could probably have a 5 or 10 foot longer hose now that I am using the whole reel.......

Glad it worked out, still don't understand how things like this get out of the factory.

I cut my front panel, introduced in 2016 models, in half making it so I can completely have access to either side of the wet bay in a few minutes. Replumbed house filter, pump filter and a couple of wire modifications making for ease of use and access to water pump, hose reel asy, macerator modification, etc. I knew I'd be in there again and I have. FWIW.

FreshAir, that is a really good idea! I am putting that on my to do list because I am sure I will also be in there again.

Gary - What did you use to attach the gloves dispenser in the wet bay? Great idea!

I removed the soap holder it comes with and just bolted the glove box holder in its place. The holder itself is a doctors glove holder.
