What 2016 Cornerstone Fixes Need to Be Done

I'm sitting in my 2008 Tiffin Allegro Bus 42QRP in the NIRVC Lilburn, Ga parking lot. We walked on several 2016's yesterday and today will probably do the deed (Cruzer made me do it!). We have settled on a 2016 Cornerstone 45B.

I have been lurking on this site for a year and a half. I know there are some things that should be fixed on my coach before I drive it off the lot, but wanted some advice from everyone here. NIRV says they will do all that is required but I'm not sure I know what ALL of them are.

Many thanks in advance. Looking forward to joining the Entegra family!

Make sure that the sewer modification has been made, and not the one initially advocated and implemented by Entegra..... They have now modified their own "patch" and it seems to be holding better.

Congratulations.... !! We look forward to you becoming a contributing member to this forum.

The most important thing regarding your coach is the check to NIRV. LOL. Be sure and send pictures. Welcome to Entegra - you will be very happy I am sure.

Always check the dates that your tires were made. When I took delivery of our new coach I found 3 tires that had 2 year old dates on them.

Sewer patch? Modified Entegra sewer patch? I must have missed something important on my 2016 CS J.

We have a 2015 45b.we bought it before the 2016 came out. We had a medicine cabinet added to the master bath(love it and highly recommend) as well as a few other features so they could sell the 2015. You have the advantage of knowing what is on the 2017 the 2016 changes were very secretive.

A number of 2016 owners experienced that their mascerator sewer would blow out and drench the sewer compartment and near basement areas with raw sewage, as well as the owner. My understanding is that the piping involved was with the high pressure side of the mascerator piping system. A number of owners have threads and posts dealing with this problem on here and Glenn Tomkins has a blog video on YouTube on the problem and his experience with the failure. My understanding is that the factory had an initial fix. However, my memory is that a major Entegra dealer and several owners proposed a different "fix" which was then adopted by the factory on future models and those in for repair. I have a 15 so my coach doesn't have the mascerator system, but that was common on early 2016s by report on iRV2.

The later 2016 came hard plumed from the pump. The earlier 16's were using flexible hose that was splitting during dumping. There is a post here with some excellent modifications, even on the later 16's.

Do you have any photos of the medicine cabinet? Would love to see what you did there.

Fixes

Thanks everyone for all the advice. NIRVC has assured us that all the fixes are done. Apparently one of their service people here noticed that the original Entegra fix wouldn't work and he was responsible for the updated fix. I also saw them working on the latest TSB back in the engine compartment and the service tech told me all was done satisfactorily.

Oh Yeah....We bought it

No. We were in Lilburn Georgia and worked with Jon Anderson. Very satisfied. Straight shooter and never tried to sell us what we didn't want.
