What can we expect for post delivery repairs?
We don't get our new Anthem until 1st of August. Shortly after delivery we will be hitting the road for several months of travel. After reading this forum it appears that there are a lot of issues after delivery (which we understand is fairly normal with every new coach). It sounds like Entegra is really great to work with and provides good customer service for any issues that to arise. However, we want to be somewhat prepared and know what to expect so we were wondering how often everyone has had to return their new coach for repair/warranty work to either the factory or dealership. I guess we will need to plan our trip around one or two or more???? trips for service work.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Expect you coach to be trouble free by the time you leave the dealer. Remember that most of the posts you see are about issues, not too many people post about non-issues. Entegra seems to have a good reputation so I would not obsess over it.
Spend a few days at the dealer living in the coach and trying everything out. Anything you find the dealer should be able to handle right there.

Agreed:
They try really hard to deliver a perfect product, but, as with all production products, YOU will find some things that need attention that they missed due to production requirements.
We're looking at a new Dutch Star, and they look perfect on the lot, then you live with them for a while and find things that don't fit or work quite right. Plus, there's "infant mortality" on some items. For unknown reasons something will quit very early in life, which is why there are warranties. If we buy this one it'll be the 6th new MH we've bought and none has been absolutely perfect from the factory.

Wally/Dianne,
I think we've been kinda normal in this. We and a couple of things that the dealer found prior to our run through. I found another group during walkthrough, but nothing that prevented moving out now on four months of full timing. And that is in the midst of a vexing electrical issue.
First we stayed at the dealer for two days, and then stayed in the vicinity for a couple more weeks while they got the parts in to fix what they and we had found. We then went back in to the dealer for one day of fixes. Hooked up to their electric and water and just camped at their place night before and night after.
But most of our list will be worked during a factory visit at Entegra end of May. They too would allow us to stay on campus while they work the fixes, but we'll go elsewhere for personal reasons. Many of these "issues" are cosmetic or things that don't prevent you from using the coach...we just want them fixed under warrantee. I think this is the case with most. There are a few that have more, but I don't know how you plan for it. There are 4000 systems making up the system. They break. Sometimes they break after they leave the factory.
Get ready to have fun. Plan for the best, but have a backup approach in case you have a biggee that you need worked. IMO, if that happens, Entegra will make it happen.

The biggest advice I could give is take delivery then don't go anywhere for 2-3 days. Camp near the dealer and get all the bugs worked out. Ask a lot of questions. Then depart on our journey.

You should be fine, we wish you the best!
We have an issue with the heat piping buried inside the floor, and I know of a couple of others, but it is not common. Unfortunately that is the one thing on these coaches that will require a trip back to Middlebury for proper repair should you be unlucky enough to get one. We have been quoted up to 2-3 weeks for the fix.
Just about anything else should be field repairable.
In regard to staying on the dealer lot for several days, good advice - assuming your dealer has hook up facilities. Ours did not, nor did they even have the physical space to put us.
In regard to standing behind the product, that has been stellar so far and Entegra will step up to the plate and do what it takes. We head out to Middlebury in about a week for our fix and all we are going to lose is time.

We want to go to Middlebury in September. Do you make an appointment with Entegra or how does that work?

Yes, call Entegra. I would suggest doing it soon as many people attending the Summerfest are doing the same. We have an appt July 29 for a factory PDI.

Yes, call service, they will set you up. I think though they are already booking into Oct/Nov. It is a week long affair.

We took delivery on our 2013 Anthem on 2/1/13 and so far all issues have been minor. Touch wood. Upon delivery, the dealer ran the house batteries down twice so we can't blame the factory for that. There was a paint scrape caused by the dealer, so we can't blame the factory for that. Down the road a couple days we did discover the engine coolant was a bit low. I would think the dealer should have check that during their PDI so I can't blame the factory for that. The water pump was sucking air as the valves in the wet Bay Area were set incorrectly by the dealer. Can't blame the factory for that.
We did have to reset the null on the levelers as it was leveling nose low. Should have been checked by dealer. Aqua hot was low on fluid, should have been checked by dealer but I'll point a finger at the factory on this one. There apparently were several air pockets in the lines so we just ran it continuously for several days, adding fluid until it didn't need any more. No signs of leaks and fluid levels are normal.
That's it for us. The coach looks fabulous, it is a pleasure to drive and the neighbors are jealous. You will love your Entegra!

It's important to note that their being so busy in July thru Oct/Nov is not the norm. Nor is it a sign that owners are suddenly finding more things wrong and are taking it to the factory to be repaired, like what happens with some other brands. The main reason is that the Entegra Owners Summerfest is being held the last week of August in northern Michigan. Almost 50 coaches are signed up so far and many of us are taking advantage of being near the factory.
