I'd go for that. I am seriously considering doing that on my Aspire.

Or, go whole hog - take a lithium pack from a wrecked Chevy Volt and put it in your RV. 9600 AH. He's trying it.

This link has a nice comparison of various lithium battery chemistries.

What does your fantasy coach look like?

Actually Newell has put a few coaches out with a Tessa Batery pack but had a lot of trouble. I have been told that Entegra has also experimented with it but have not solved all the problems. Hang on , it's coming! All JMHO

Am considering lithium as well, but not from a Volt, that is a little too ambitious for my liking. Very interesting to see what can be accomplished with a recycled Volt battery pack.

1. Paint that doesn't chip so easily.
Mine seems to chip easily.

2. TPMS
Seems like this is a no-brainer.

3. Comfort Drive
Working at a dealership, I get to drive/pull all types of units. I know there are those on here that think it's not all it's cracked up to be, but IMHO it's an amazing system and makes driving a 45' unit a breeze.

4. Escape Door
American Coach and Newmar have these. I personally like the AC version better with the built in steps.

5. Master Remote
I can only speak to the Aspire, but my slide remote is useless. Even a rep from Entegra told me it was useless. Would love to have slides, awnings, exterior lights all on one remote.....that worked.

Overall I am very happy with our Aspire. We have the 44b floor plan and love it. It's one of the reasons we chose Aspire over Dutch Star. Very little we would change.

Brain, the slide remote can be made to work. I saw at the factory last year they were still not exposing the antenna wire on the new coaches. The slide remote will not work with the antenna hidden and the low amp factory installed battery. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/new-...ml#post2330230

In addition to some of the previous wishes.

1) Usable Multi-climate awnings

2) Outside TV you can see when the sun shines, is at eye level so you don't get a kink in your neck, and is independent from the inside TVs with a sound system that doesn't blast inside the coach.

3) All the water filters in the wet bay.

4) Rounded edges on the slides so they are not so dangerous. I love my coach but I shouldn't have to bleed.

5) Auto-on-off lights in the compartments with a master switch on the entry door control panel.

Just a few...

My remote will work for about 3 slides, then the battery dies. Haven't had a issue with range.

Have you replace the remote with a quality battery? Mine would not work until I switch to a better battery.
