What is it?

What Is This thing?

Going through reading & organizing the stack-o-stuff in the documentation suitcase for my 2015 Cornerstone. Came across 2 of these things, hexagonal metal rod, one end is drilled out & threaded:

It looks like a stand off rod. Used in building up the mounted stands for electric component stands, like the ones used to hold your inverter/charger.

Drilled out and threaded on one end though I may be wrong. Stand rods normally are threaded on both ends.

I have a set for my 2014 Anthem. I have no clue what they're for.

I'm kinda glad nobody knows what it is. Had it been obvious, I would have felt a little foolish.

I'll use it to stir my gin & tonic.

I put mine in the box of double manuals and parts that were never used for mounting items in the MH. I still don't know what those were for and probably never will

Could it be a mini dingus?

Actually no idea but looking at the quality of the rod it would appear that they have a good reason to be included with the coach. It would be worth asking the manufacturer or dealer.

Could be a relative bearing grease insertion tool.

So shall I.

So glad I received 2 copies for the Inverter, 2 Copies for the Magnum Energy remote, 3 copies for the A/C's, 4 copies for the TV, 2 copies for the BR/DVD and 2 copies for the Door Entry system.

But no copy of the Cummins or Allison manuals. Now those might be potentially interesting.

I also would have liked a copy of the Cradlepoint router manual. I was able to log into it via a web browser and peruse the help screens and change the default access point name and password. I also set it up as an internet access point for the coach using my smart phone as the gateway.

In addition to all of the extra manuals, I took my paper cutter and cut out all of the foreign languages out of the manuals I filed in an alphabetical case. Now it is nice a light and easy to find the manuals that will be used.

Doing most of my own maintenance, I am going to miss the paper Cummins manual. No more paper clips on the pages for the most used pages of the manual.

Thought of that - but can't find a place on the slide mechanism that fits. Besides, why 2 in 2 separate packages? My other thought was some sort of tool for the Girard awnings - but, lacking any documentation for the awnings I'm not sure.

Maybe Entegra should hire one of us to assemble a proper documentation package rather than the slap-dash mess o' manuals.

There should be a clear plastic bag with the Girard CD and black plastic awning adjustment tool. It may be stuck inside of one of the books, mine was.
