Here's a link to the Entegra Entrance Door Manual: https://www.entegracoach.com/uploads...r%20Manual.pdf

The door latch adjustment info begins on page 17.

Probably more than you'd ever want to know about the entry door...unless you like to tinker.

Take care,
Stu

Hi Ron,

Well, sometimes when it's been in storage for a few weeks, it still smells new and I haven't, yet, scheduled the AIR. So, it's still pretty new.

'18 Anthem 42DEQ purchased new in Feb '18.

The link that I shared for the entry door manual came from this location: https://www.entegracoach.com/owners-center/ That link should take you to a login page. Once logged in, click on the "Manuals" tab and you can fine numerous other very helpful manuals.

Take care,
Stu

OK, back to topic. The cover plate gives access to the PTL latch assembly. The assembly can be remove and you can adjust how tight the door closes. Too tight and your slamming the door and too loose and the seals leak giving you the joys of wind noise while driving and possibly water leak.

I think PTL (Praise The Lord) is at the same level of Urban tales as JEEP (Just Enough Essential Pasts). Sounds plausible, but that is about how far it goes, plausible.

Silly boy, JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket.

Nope, the real meaning is “Just Everyone Else's Parts”. You can save a lot of money in a dark parking lot.
