What's This?

Noticed a pipe sticking down just inside one of the frame rails, it is about 7ft up from the drive wheels.

Anyone know what this is? Seems to be sticking down low and at risk of hitting bottom going over a bump.

That is clearly a ABS elbow..
ABS piping is used for plumbing of drain lines and waste tank dump lines.

I would slide up under there and INVESTIGATE

Hopefully it is just a lost part during build out and has fallen down

Otherwise....you gots a plumbing issue

That's a vent for the battery box.

Thanks, that's got to be what it is. However, liked Belgians answer better, would increase speed on hills.

Well......
That works.

BUT.......what's the word I'm looking for?

Oh yeah.
CHEAP

that would be something I would expect to be found/used on ......actually I wouldn't expect it at all.

Guess that is 'multi-use' of existing inventory

wow, that does seem awful vulnerable hanging down like that. I guess if it is a vent it won't be a show stopper if it gets sheared off.........

I understand the need to have a rear facing vent like that. A screen would allow too much stuff to enter the battery compartment. My personal choice would be a stainless steel "hood scoop" that wouldn't hang down so far. Driving over an alligator could damage it when the tire tread smacks the ABS elbow.

Hi Ready2Travel, great choice in colors. I have the exact same coach, well almost, since I do not have that pipe hanging down nor anything similar. Mine is an early 2017 delivered in May so it could be a model year change. I would take a picture and send it to Entegra to be sure. Let us know what you find out.
