Ours went out, replaced with the new Whirlpool. Huge difference between the old one and this new one. New one MUCH better.

I was having the same problem. Washer would spin but not do a high spin, leaving the clothes soaking wet. I re-calibrated the the spin cycle and the high speed spin was back as it should be. To re-calibrate set the dial to Clean Washer and then press the Cancel button 4 times. It takes a minute to run through. After that we were good to go. Love a happy ending.

Check the filter and drain for debris like change, toothpicks, gum or candy wrappers. At the bottom of washer is a plastic cover that snaps off. On right side is a cover you unscrew and pull insert out. I cleaned this plus blew air with my compressor in the drain tube. Found several coins and toothpicks

X2 on checking the drain. Happen to us. Found out if the water doesn't drain in a proper time limit, the tub will not go into high spin. Mine had $2.25 in it . Works great now and I'm richer. lol
