Whirlpool Washer WFC 7500

My whirlpool washer didn't work for 1st year after 3 service calls and a new electronic control board WPW10192966 it worked for a year. This winter the high spin cycle quit working after two more electronic control boards and $500 it worked well for 5 loads then started acting up again. The pump empties the water every time and there is no clog in the lower drain. I am getting good at taking off the cabinet doors and removing the dryer to gain access. Of Course Whirlpool says they share my frustration but offered no real help as usual. Anyone else have this problem or can recommend a reliable wash machine that will fit in 2015 Entegra Anthem.

We, along with some others on here, have installed the new Whirlpool WFW5090GW. Entegra now uses the 3090, but the 5090 is a nicer machine and much better than the old 7500.

Washer

Thanks but I think my days of purchasing any Whirlpool product are over, will be looking at the completion. Terrible customer service After 4 control boards you would think they would have an answer to the problem or offer a replacement.

Same Issue

I have the same machine AND the same problem. I have been tempted to put in a new CCU assembly same as you but at $330 I haven’t done it yet. Now i’m even more convinced that might not be the problem. If you figure out yours please let us know.

We had a 7500 whirlpool from new that was broke down from the get go. It sat for 5 months waiting for a door switch until they called and offered to replace the whole unit.
The new 7500 has been flawless for 3 years. Go figure.
Hope I didn’t jinx myself.

I had the older style Whirlpool washer in my 2014 Anthem. It was problematic and after many wasted dollars and hours of frustration I chose to replace both the washer and dryer with Splendide machines. The Splendides worked great. Fast forward and three years later I sold the Anthem and bought a new 2019 Cornerstone. I wasn't thrilled to once again be the owner a Whirlpool washer and dryer although these were touted by many as new and improved models. I was skeptical and figured I'd replace them once the Whirlpool washer quit working properly.
I'm both pleased and surprised to report that new and improved models really are that. They work! In the last year I haven't seen either machine display any error codes or quit mid-cycle.
There you have it. Spendides are rock solid units but you might consider taking a chance on the new Whirlpool washer.

Washing machine

Hi All,
I am new to entegra as we just purchased a 2015 CS and love it. We are full timers and still figuring out how all works. We had a 2011 diplomat. One thing that I can not find is a way to have washing machine work when connected to city water. I have to fill fresh water tank for it to even start. Is there a valve that I have not found yet? We have the 45J model.

Our Whirlpool has certainly been a problem since new! The most recent was the high spin not working ad the op stated. The code indicated a door latch. Got one from drparts.com and replaced it. Problem solved, however, it still does not run the clean cycle and sometimes throws other codes that we are able to clear. That machine has been a real headache as well as costly for some of the other repairs.

Whirlpool Wash Machine Update

A few days ago I decided to take mine apart and test all the components. Everything tested out properly. I then decided to take apart the drain hose and filter. Here is a list of what I found: 8 quarters, 1 dime, 3 nickels, 10 pennies, a metal buffalo head piece about the size of a half-dollar, a Master Lock Key, a 2” piece of a pencil and some lint. After removing these items and putting the machine back together, I’m happy to say it has worked flawlessly for 10 loads now.
We shall see how long it lasts.

ChainSaw, good heads up, we clean our filter once a month when traveling. The ceiling A/C filters and the washing machine are all done on the same day. Sure helps eliminate problems on both units later on.
