If you close the entry door while the transmission is in D it will make noise; the top latch and compression does not work then. Close the door only in N.

I find that giving the door a harder shut before getting under way, harder than I do when in a park makes all the wind noise go away.

Have you checked the service manuals on the Entegra app? There is a service manual dedicated the entrance door. I had to adjust my air lock on my 2011 Anthem. The lock is located on the front frame of the entrance door. The door has a hook and the frame has a latch that is adjustable by loosening the 4 screws and moving it in slightly, then retighten. As Txbart alluded to, you must not close the front door while it is in gear because the latch will engage and then when you slam the door, it will break the hook located on the door. You will definitely have an air leak then!

I thought the air lock on the front door was controlled by the park brake not the gear selection.

I was up at the MH today and I meant to take a picture of a flat piece of weather stripping that TS put over the hinges to stop my door whistle and I forgot. I will be up there Tues and if I remember, I will take that picture for you. Maybe it will help, worked on mine, but the doors are so much NICER on the Entegras.

My hinges have a very slightly recess on the door frame...a very thin piece of weather stripping, making it flush solved the problem. That may not be true on the Entegra.

The air lock is control by your park brake, I think that's what Nowabeachbum meant. Very easy to adjust the air lock and that will solve the whistle.

I just put a note in the phone to take that picture Tues. TS put a paper thin strip of back weather stripping just covering the the door hinges where it screws to the door jam. If I remember correct, it just covers the screws.

I am looking forward to the Entegra with a quite door. We spent 4 years chasing wind noise. I have a garage full of rubber sealing material...finally gave up and have lived with it for 6 more years. It will be nice to have a quite door for a change. I would call CS they may know exactly what to do for the noise you have.

Here is a picture of the airlock and the 4 screws that you loosen, move the plate in slightly and retighten. Check and make sure the hook on the door is not cracked or broken.
