We have a 2013 Anthem DEQ (picked it up 28 Dec) and our first couple times the wind whistled in around the door but we discovered we were being too gentle when we closed the door. So we've learned to be a tad bit more aggressive when closing the door before heading out. Just a thought . . ..

My coach is at Entegra for warranty work. I leaks around the top of the door and whistles. They are working on a fix. Sometime in the past someone on this site said they adjusted the door latch in and the air rush stopped.

Be a lot aggressive when closing the door, especially on a new unit or an older one where you've changed the insulation.
However,it can also be coming from the right side of the w/s.

We did experience what I thought was an air leak around the door. This may sounds strange, but it turns out it was an air leak at the top center of the windshield (I would sworn it was a leak near the door). Took it to a local shop for repair and haven't experienced an issue since.

We had some whistling around the driver's window and door. Lazydays fixed it but I am not sure how. We also learned to shut the door more aggressively and that seemed to help the door noise. I believe they added more caulk or insulation under the windows but am not positive. Also driver side window had a squeek when it was cold though not when the coach warmed up. They fixed that by removing the wood molding and putting in more insulation(?) and that too has been solved.

Thanks for the help.Did the closing harder. Still had the noise . At the factory I heard that the mirrors might whistle. It's not all the time , sometimes when a truck passes or the right cross wind. On the windshield making the noise , did you have a leak? I'll take a look tomorrow. Thanks again guys

We had the whistling as soon as we left after picking up our coach. tried slamming it harder but to no avail. I took the latch apart and made it close tighter and voila' no whistling.

Shardan1 I see you have a Anthem 44DLQ I have been looking into this coach I have not seen one in person only the 42DLQ . we love the lay out of the 44DLQ but from looking at the pictures on the web site it looks like the toilet has a foot flush instead of a electric flush and also on a step up could you give me some information on that.
Also what things on the 44 did you like over the 42( thanks for any information you could give me)

tonyalaskarms: Much larger bathroom/shower areaon the 44DLQ. On the 42DLQ, the toilet and shower are enclosed together. On the 44DLQ, the toilet is enclosed by itself.
The toilet is a footflush. We have the table and chair option, which really works out for us. We don't really like the booth option, makes the interior look cheap. IMO

The toilet is on a step up to increase the angle of the sewer pipe to the black tank.

I'll let you know after we take delivery sometime in the next 10 days. I've read virtually everything written, both good and bad, on this forum and am still convinced we made the right decision. The brand comparison and reviews written by Mark Quasius (Cruzer) were critical also. Our alternative was a Tiffin as that's what we had before. But due to the problems they have had in the last few years, we just didn't want to go back. I know that not all Tiffin coaches had issues but there were enough reports to keep us away.

We are purchasing from Mark Strollo at RVOne (Orlando RV) and are very satisfied with the negotiations and the preparation for delivery. David Virtue, director of parts/service) has been great to work with also.
