You'll also need an EAA membership to stay at camp Scholler. Do take bicycles. You won't be allowed on the flight line with them, but they'll be very convenient for getting you to the gate. Yes, there are shuttle busses that will traverse up and down through the campground, but you might end up parked a long way from the main road and a bus stop.

We used to try and get there two or three days before the official start and set up lawn chairs down on the flight line, as close to the runway as possible, with a radio tuned into the tower frequency. Very entertaining.

I've been there a few times. If you don't mind staying off the site, look up Eureka Dam Camp Ground. It's an easy 20 minute drive through the country roads with very little traffic. 50 amp with water but only a dump station. I use this place because they don't require me staying the entire week.

I was in there last year with a 40 ft 5th wheel 13'6 high so you shouldn't have any problems with the Entegra. The pull through sites are about 75 ft long.

For those that don't live breath and sweat airplanes, being away from them a bit may not be a bad plan. There's 2 sounds that used to wear thin on me towards the end of the week. The prop noise from a plane doing acrobatics (near constant "demonstrations"), and the constant monotone of those darn blimps.... -Al
