Whole multiplex switch panel goes dark no power
Just had the bedroom light multiplex panel go black with no power. First time for us. I'm hoping it is just a fuse but I can't locate it if that is the problem. Or is the panel shot?
Thank you for your help.

I am pulling from memory of an older post, so bear with me. There is a plug in the bathroom where you can plug the multiplex panel in to check if the panel is bad or if it another problem.

I'm assuming you have tried to cycle the Illumination control on/off? Is the bedroom panel the only one dark? Despite the panel being dark does it still operate the lights or shades? One forum user wrote of a wire that just became disconnected to the back of the panel.
Chuck is right. If you disconnect that panel you can plug it into the Netport in the CB panel to determine if the wiring vs panel is the problem. I'm not sure if removing the panel will leave you a length of wire with the proper connector to test on the Netport plug.

Mike,I have just gone through similar electrical issues. It turned out to be a water leak in the roof above the fuse panel in bath. You can check the switch panel by removing from wall disconnect plug(like phone plug)and take the panel to fuse panel and plug it in at the bottom. This will run the lights from there if the panel. is working.I have spent many hours with the manufacturer on the phone they were very helpful . They are Firefly 574-825-4600 Tech is Ryan ext 208 Good luck.

Multiplex panel dead
Well I carefully removed panel and it was not plugged in. Wire is down in wall, don't know if I can fish that out. Plugged in panel and it functioned properly in bathroom. (Add) just found wire coming from top, plugged in and everything ok.
I want to thank you all for responding and for your help. I really appreciate it.

Any idea how it became unplugged? Vibration? Loose connection from the factory?

Have you been on I-10 through Louisiana lately? That could do it.
Glad it was an easy fix.

What I use for fishing wires is buy a length of aluminum grounding wire for antenna installation. It is about 1/8 in in dia and easily bent yet it rolls up nicely.you can straighten it out when needed and bend a hook on the end for just this type of fishing. I have a 20 foot roll that I've been using for about 10 years. It's cheap too. Look for it at a home store.

Multiplex goes dead
A tech at Lazy Days replaced the original one that went bad. It would appear that he did not plug it in all the way so it locked. Also I took the one off next to it and Entegra taped the connection to the back of the panel so it couldn't become disconnected. The tech did not do that. It was hanging loose and shook apart. I taped it to the back of the switch panel.
