It's working as usual for me. No problems that I see. I'm also using Chrome.

Something is happening once in a while, Chrome gets hung for a while loading IRV2, sometimes it even asks to kill the page or wait. This is relatively new behavior in the last week or two for me. Haven't been able to catch it in the debugger.

My guess is one of the many obnoxious ads has some bad javascript in it. If you run an ad blocker you might not see it.

Mine is also slow on chrome. I even went back to my cable provider and had system checked to no avail. Has been that way for several days.

I routinely get a note on my iPhone from the operating system telling running the app may slow the performance of my phone, the provider needs to update the app.

The OP didn't state which OS or whether s/he was on a desktop or mobile device. I too occasionally have issues with irv2.com as well as other web sites occasionally being slow on my WIN 7 PC using the latest version of Chrome.

I have cleared my cache on Chrome (once it hits around 400 items and/or 400MB it starts to slow down) and have rebooted my PC. These solutions work most of the time. Other times I think it's because my FIOS connection has a lot of other users doing stuff and slowing things down.

Notice all of the ads on the side of the main window or the ones below it? It takes a lot of bits to support all of the graphical data being presented.

If using the app on a mobile device try updating the app. Changes have been made as of late.

Works fine on Windows 10 desktop with Firefox for me.
Also OK on my LG V10 Android 6.0 phone with the app.

I am using Firefox, and it is indeed slow but "Site speed" is a function of many things. In sequential order

The speed of the host computer
The load on the host comnputer
The load on the DNS that your ISP is using
How much data is the HOST ISP hauling
How good is their internet connection
How good is YOUR ISP
How much load is it hauling
How fast is YOUR connection (If you are in an RV park your share of the park's Connection)
How fast is your computer
How "Bogged" is your computer
How many Windows Patches are slowign down your conmputer (Depends on OS)
How much malware is running on your computer.
Mine is scanned often
How corrupt is your computer's registry (Likewise)

I know this. I take my low end Chromebook ov er to Denny's in Brunswick and.....

Well the Chrome OS is still fairly compact, not a lot of patches yet
It's also more or less self cleaning, not a lot of malware, also yet
and the Connection flirts with 5 GBPS,, that is 4 Gigs of data per second.

EVERYTHING is faster while I'm eating my All American Slam.

Try clearing the cache

Go to Chrome settings in upper right corner of your screen. It is three dots.

Click on settings

Scroll down to advanced settings near the bottom, click on

Scroll down to Privacy, click on clear browsing data

Check next to Browsing History and Cached Images, then click on clear browsing data at bottom

this should help speed things up

I use Firefox for IRV2 most of the time. I'm a computer tech and what Mike said above is correct. I do performance tuning on a regular basis for clients, I clean other things as well, but clearing the browser cache is the biggest single thing. Malware also accounts for a lots of issues, along with other factors as pointed out above. I do not believe that IRV2 itself is having any issues. Mostly likely your computer and/or your network connection. Bottle necks can be any where back to a main haul trunk line.
