Will Entegra provide all tile floor in the near future?

As mentioned in another post, I really love the appearance in the London Aire. Widens the space and looks clean.

Any guesses or scoop on this?

When does Entegra typically make their feature announcements for the next model year?

I agree nobody can accurately guess, so I won't try.

New models are usually introduced by Entegra in May or June.

Because I've read some folks on the Entegra forum have had surprise visits from Entegra managers and have even had dinner with them. Entegra owners for the most part are the most loyal bunch I've seen. I would believe that there's been a time or two where information has been passed along, especially to those who have purchased 4 or 5 Entegras over the years.

A few years ago Entegra showed an early version of the next year's coach. People who saw it started cancelling their orders for the current model year coach. Entegra learned a hard lesson to be careful what they say about upcoming changes. I don't think they want to go through that again.

My answer would be, I'm sure they will offer full tile "sometime in the future" if that is what people want. Could be 20 years from now ... or next year, who knows. However, I really don't see the bid deal. The only carpet in a B floor plan is under the dinette and a little ledge by the bedroom dresser. Our dog hair accumulates on the tile as much as it does the carpet. Both are easy to vacuum up.

If a little bit of carpet is what is keeping someone from buying an Entegra, then they really need to look elsewhere, they probably aren't going to be happy with whatever they buy ..... IMO

The carpet under the dinette is much nicer on the feet first thing on a chilly morning. My floor heat doesn't work again. Glad I had the carpet.

Any full-tile in a slideout would have to be cold because there's no Aqua-Hot floor heat in them. Another consideration would be the cracking of the tile. Slideouts are more flexible than the main floor and that may be a consideration as well. It probably depends on the slideout design. The type of adhesive used to a certain extent but if it's too hard then the tile would crack if flexed and if it's too pliable then the tile would loosen up if flexed. I know of at least one other 2016 coach (SOB) that has cracked slideout tile.

Mark, good point of the slide floor not being heated, never thought of that. That would be of a concern to us as we travel fall colors and cold weather coming home. That means we would be putting a rug under the dinette anyway.

For me, carpet in the bedroom is nice. Tile bedroom was an option on the 2013 Aspire, but now its standard for all. Obviously that did not impact any future buying decisions for us.

Along with what Mark said, which makes a lot of sense, isn't tile a lot heavier than carpet. And from what I have been reading, front axle weights are very critical in coaches. By adding tile to the front slides won't that push some coaches close to maximum weight of the front axle without cargo? This might cause the manufacturer to redesign the front axle to carry more weight. Therefore is the added increase in cost justified just to have tile on the slides. Just wondering.
