Williamsport, PA to Canandaigua, NY

We are planning our late June- early July trip to Canandaigua.

As it is now our last night outbound will be in Williamsport, PA. The last leg can be through Watkins Glen, up 14 then west on 20 to Canandaigua. Or we can go northwest on 380 then north on 21 to Canandaigua. 21 looks very twisting and turning on the map, maybe not to friendly for a 43' MH and toad.

My last post on the trip got several replies from people familiar with the area. Can I get some advice on this last leg?

Thanks!

The truck route up that way is State Route 14A up to Geneva and then US 20 West. Ran a semi with 53' trl up 14A more times then I can count. Route 14 is a good road, it used to be restricted for trucks but is no longer. It's a nice scenic drive up along the lake on a bluff over looking the lake. No real hill, winding, or twisting.

Born and raised in Williamsport but can't help you out on selecting a route as I moved away many years ago.

Now I come in on Interstate 80 when I visit family there.

The last time I drove Rte 21 was in the car. You could drive the RV that route but Rte 14A is a better road.
