Wine Rack Mod for Entegra

Anyone done a wine rack mod for their Entegra, or found one that works in a good place?

I'm thinking the area under the long picture window in my DEQ. Just looking for ideas that keep the bottles on their side.

I've never had wine long enough to store it ...

Know what you mean...occasionally, we come across a bottle we want a case of.

In this case two, from a property that my DW grew up on raising Morgan horses 40 years ago. A great Pino and a red they call Holy Mole that has hints of spice, chocolate, and a little New Mexico red chili...wow. We'll carry it for a while and share when appropriate.

Quoted for absolute truth. Never found a bottle I didn't drink.

Yup ... a "used wine cork holder" is much easier to design

Another Option

We aren't wine snobs, but we have stayed in a few HI Expresses.

The #1 killer of wine is temperature change - not so much the temp at which it's stored. The temperature in our coach goes up and down so much that if we ever had wine to store, we'd put in the fridge so at least it would be a constant temp. It's too cold, but it warms up fast - if we don't drink it in gulps. We are considering a small wine fridge for the bays for exactly the situation you're talking about.

I think I can build wine rack under the bed....42DEQ.....

There's a flat place up under the head end.....probably room for 16 bottles.....
