Winegard 2.0 wifi
Good afternoon,
I hope this is an actual new thread. I am looking at a winegard 2.0 4g LTE wifi extender. Currently have Verizon similar to a mifi.
This is supposed to be compatible with Verizon and would have to purchase the card to actually get data.
Anyone ha e experience with this system.
Thanks
Suzzanne

I have the Winegard Connect and had a Verison mifi. Took the card out of the mifi and went to Verison and swapped it for size SIM card that Wingard uses and assigned the phone number that the mifi used to the Winegard and it works great. Using the Winegard Ap I can switch from wifi (usually get 10-20 sites) to 4g

I have the Winegard Connect and a MiFi but have not moved the SIM card to the Winegard. I just connect the MiFi wirelessly to the Winegard when needed. Most of the time the Winegard allows me to have sufficient speed by connecting to campground wifi. I rarely use the MiFi except when on the road or boondocking.

I did find that when I moved the Verizon sim card to the Winegard, I was able to get cell service in a campground where I previously could not get service. A friend had no cell service until I set him up as guest, then he could get cell service also.
