Winegard traveler

With the Winegard traveler sat dish how many receivers do you need? Ours will be set up for DISH network from the factory and we were wondering what type and how many receivers are required to supply the 4 tv's on the 2020 Cornerstone?

One receiver can watch the same channel on all 4 TV's. You can add an additional receiver to the bedroom for different channel viewing in the bedroom. I don't know how the other TV's will be wired on the 20's.

We are with Direct in the coach, but I believe they all work the same way. Just like at home, you need a receiver (mine is the big DVR receiver (Genie) and then X number of remote Mini Genie units. I have one remote Genie behind the TV in the bedroom area. On many coaches, the main coach and the outside TV are connected together. So, in my arrangement, one Genie and one mini Genie.

Gary got it right. The GENIE system can handle several tvs. Each tv gets it's own connector to the main GENIE receiver. Just like at home. Can record up to five different programs at one time. The key is the Traveler HD dish.

JimB

With DISH and the Hopper you can watch the Hopper on each TV and if you opt to add Joeys to each TV you will have a choice to watch what is on the Hopper or select a different channel or recorded show on the Joey connected to that TV

We're on DISH (refugees from Direct) and have Hopper 3 and wireless Joeys for the bedroom and outside TV. We also run a Joey for an external TV at our site in Stoneridge. You can survive on just the Hopper, but as previously stated, only one channel at a time.
