Winterize the refrigerator ?

Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to winterize the refrigerator in my 2013 Aspire ? I have been told not to run RV anti freeze thru the water chiller and ice maker... Les

You most definitely winterize the fridge. Two ways to perform.

1. Leave filter in fridge and simply put a cup in the water dispenser and continue to fill cup until you see the pink/green fluid coming out. PLEASE NOTE: this ruins the filter and a new one will need to be replaced before using the fridge for water/ice. Having said that if you replace filter annually, this is an easy way to remind yourself to replace filter.

2. Pull filter out and replace/screw the cap that originally came on the fitting that the filter screws onto. If you are like us, the filter was installed before pickup and we don't have the cap. Thus, we use the process #1 above.

Les, I believe you are in CO and use Rocky Mtn Cummins. I asked them to winterize our coach and they wanted $725 to winterize. I took it to Camping world and it was done for $125. Hope that helps.
