Winterized Aqua Hot

I have been wondering if the Aqua Hot works when the coach is winterized with the pink RV antifreeze. We get the coach out quite a bit here to work on it, clean it, drive it, show it off, and any other reason we can think of.

My question is can I use the Aqua Hot when I bring it home to work on a few days to keep the inside warm. I have drained all the water from the coach and put the anti freeze throughout, bypassing the filters, etc. I will not use any hot water, so does the heating solution warm up and circulate to the zones, and no water is needed in the tank or process for this to work?

(It does not get cold enough here to worry about draining the boiler solution)

The basic answer is yes. This is also covered in you AH owners manual. Be glad you don't have to shovel the snow off the roof!

Yes you can because the Aqua Hot is filled with anti freeze.

Many thanks, I will "fire it up" next time to heat the coach. We had a good ice storm and then snow this week in the DFW area. Certainly nothing like other parts of the USA has seen, but it really messes up things here since we are not prepared for it, and most have no clue how to drive on it.

Is your boiler serviced with enough antifreeze? I understand you have the fresh water side taken care of, but check the boiler also.

Not clear on the suggestion. I did put about 5 gallons of pink anti freeze through out entire water system in the coach, hot and cold until it flowed from all water outlets in the coach. My Boiler solution (I think also called Boiler anti freeze?) is throughout the Aqua Hot system, and the reservoir reports the proper hot and cold levels when checked.(may be what you suggested) I have hesitated to turn it on without water in the tank, but don't see what difference it would make if I don't open any water faucets, there would be no demand for hot water.
