Probably everyone has their own reasons. But, typically, it is thought that you would get more money for your coach selling it on your own. Not sure if that is true or not - but that is why lots of people sell their cars instead of trading them in ... so why not a motorhome?

And ... compared to other brands, I don't think Entegra has more for sale than others. Seems to me, even folks with "issues" are happy with their Entegra ... or are wanting to move up to the next Entegra level. However, some have gone to other manufacturers ... some have gotten out of RVing all together .... everyone is different and have different reasons for everything!

Ron55

I did not want to trade in with a dealer because of the money I would have lost.

FSBO allowed me to keep more $$ in my pocket.

Trade in is easier yes -- but in my case I am looking to save as much as possible on the upgrade.

Others may have different reasons.

Curt

I had six months to wait for my Entegra to be delivered. I sold my previous MH for $15,000. more than the dealer offered on trade in, one month after we placed the order for the Entegra.
