Has anyone else had an issue with their Starter? Today for the third time now, the starter turned the motor but would not start. The starter timed out for lack of better word. Had to have Smokie towed for the second time. Last time, MB the next morning stated Smokie started right up but they updated the computer software anyway. Good thing we are not traveling right now. But Smokie will not be looked at until Tuesday due to the holiday. Guess more to come.

Don't get a big hurry to start your Sprinter. Turn the key to the "wait to start" position and wait until all the lights turn off - then start the engine. Lots of stuff going on in those few seconds of waiting including fuel system pressurizing, glow plugs coming up to temperature, computers getting ready.
