On our 2014 Sprinter, MB just extended the warranty on the NOX sensors to 10 years. I've already have both front and back replaced once, good to know that they will be covered going forward. Think I'd raise a little h*ll with MB on this one.

Disconnected DEF vent tube

I was returning home from the eclipse when the check engine light came on, followed later by the check DEF light. It took me a couple of days to get in to the shop (Kollmar's in Kent, WA-Yea!). During their check, they added DEF and noticed it leaking onto the ground. Long story short: The DEF venting tube worked itself off,and all DEF leaked out. I was down to 7 starts from 16 (did not know about that until the service). Reconnected, tested, reset software with specified 1 hour drive, no parts, and all is well. This is a 2015 Renegade Villagio with 4000 miles, has not yet been serviced. I consider myself fortunate not to have had to tow it to a Mercedes dealer. I highly recommend Kollmar for any Seattle area non-warranty Sprinter service.
