Diesel fuel treatment
How many use a diesel fuel treatment in their Sprinter?
If so, which one do you use?

Am I doing my math correctly? This product is a 1 gallon to 640 gallon ratio. So for 20 gallons I use 4 oz... ?

Looks correct to me 20/640 = 1/32. 1/32 of a 128oz would be 4oz.
I have some industrial stuff that says 1 gal treats 1000-1500 gals. I haven't used it.

Biobor, as it helped us fully clean a previous MH fuel system that was completely contaminated with algae. A shock treatment, several 100 gallon tanks treated with maintenance doses, several primary and secondary filter changes, algae gone!
Maintenance treatments going forward in our current MH is all it takes to keep things clean.

I haven't checked the manual for the Mercedes engine but the manual for the Cummings engine in my previous coach, stated clearly that any additives to the fuel would invalidate the warranty and should not be used. Guess I better look in the book.

Must be an old manual.

2nd on the recommendation for Power Service Clean Diesel. The old style additives, like Lucas Fuel Treatment) are too thick for engines with high pressure fuel rails. An additive with the ingredient "Cetane" is something to look for.

Your Mercedes diesel requires no fuel treatments - read your manual. The only possible treatment could be an algicide for those who store their motorhomes in a humid climate. Even in those cases, a full fuel tank will reduce or eliminate algae growth and the need for treatment.
How come the people who say to use a specific brand of additive are not Sprinter owners? Why are they answering this post when the information they contribute is irrelevant to the subject?

My diesels in Montana in the winter do require an anti-gel additive. I either add it myself to fuel tank, my 200gal bulk tank or ensure that the station I am purchasing fuel from has already treated it. I typically use PS white jug.

Cummins now RECOMMENDS using "Power Service" additives in their engines. They put out a press release on it a year or so ago. Even Wal*Mart carries it.
