Mis-information. Engine size and chassis selection (2500 vs 3500) have no correlation. Winnebago was building Views/Navions on the 3500 chassis with the 2.0L 4 cyl diesel/7 speed trasnsmission, but dealers quit ordering them. Dealers claimed performance was poor. One guy on the View Yahoo Forum wanted one. Had to call the factory to confirm if they still had 4 cyl chassis' which they confirmed they did, so he got a dealer to order one to his specs on that chassis.
Most years of Sprinters had only one engine choice, but in 2007 (only) Daimler offered a 3.5L V6 GAS engine option in addition to the 3.0L diesel which was its first year. Later, they began to offer the 2.0L 4 cyl diesel/7 speed NAG2 transmission as an alternative to the tried and true 3.0L V6 Diesel.
Singles and duals have different GVWR.
