Sirius XM is a satellite radio signal, a satellites have coverage of all the U.S. If you're not getting the signal, I'd get the antenna checked, geographical location shouldn't make any difference.

You could try disconnecting battery and resetting the receiver, but more likely it's a bad antenna.

We kept getting intermittent "No Signal" in the Jensen VR209TP radio & Sirius radio installed at the factory in our 2011 Winnebago View 24K. We finally had the tiny rooftop Sirius satellite antenna replaced under our extended warranty with a higher quality Shakespeare Marine SRA-25 Galaxy SiriusXM Satellite Antenna and its been better... although if I'd do it again I'd install the larger / longer range SRA-40 Galaxy SiriusXM Satellite Antenna instead for hopefully even fewer Sirius signal dropouts. SRA-40 Galaxy SiriusXMŪSatellite Antenna | Shakespeare Marine Antennas

We bought our SRA-25 antenna from Jet.com using an intro discount. I'd suggest you shop around since prices varied widely when I bought ours last year.
