MB sprinter steering wheel buttons.

Since I disconnected the chassis battery I needed to reset the clock. With the owners manual in hand I could not get it done. None of the buttons I was suppose to push did what they said. I think I'm tech literate but not so sure now.

My question is, since there is an issue with the steering wheel buttons changing the music tracks etc, could this have something to do with my issue?

Thanks in advance.

dennish2024, I suspect that you are going to have to get the salesman from whom you purchased the coach to help. The model, the year and the particular refinements in your dashboard computer all have bearing on just how you access the clock feature in the dash display.
On my 2015, model 3500, van the dash clock is set by the buttons on the right side, but I have to experiment with the actual sequence.

The buttons you use are on the left side of the steering wheel. Those are the ones that control the DIC. The right side buttons are for music/phone/etc. Open up your Mercedes manual for instructions on how to set various things. You might even discover that you have a DEF gauge on the DIC.

I'm not that illiterate! I know what the buttons do. I have spent too much time sitting with the owners manual doing what they say with nothing happening. Something is wrong.

Thanks Triglider, The problem I have is when I get the the menu and am suppose to use the +/- buttons to scroll, nothing happens, I'm dead in the water.

I stopped at an auto stereo store that I have used in the past who sells Kenwood he said it is probably a module that needs to be replaced. Since I'm still under warranty I'll talk to Tiffin first.

Again, thanks.

Hey Alexis and Dennis:
I found my answer to the steering wheel buttons on YouTube. I searched for my year and model. It was helpful. Better than the manual. Try it and I wish you success.
