hi Twinboat I appreciate what you are saying and it makes sense, though I think -but am not sure - that a wider wheel base is like a wider stance in surfing or skiing? Coming out of a driveway, going unevenly over speedbumps or driving through pot holes slowly is where I feel in the most. Would helper springs or adding a leaf to better support the weight be a more effective way to improve this sway? Thanks!!

By the way I did install the stiffest Hellwig swaybar and installed airless "airbags" which has helped a lot.

It made sense that the body is attached to the springs and widening the wheel base would not be the best choice. I ordered the SUPER SPRINGS SSA11 kit to add a progressive helper spring to the OEM leaf springs. IT made a very big difference! The rock and roll is greatly improved. HOWEVER the installation was very difficult. I tried to DIY and failed. The sprinter springs are NOT parabolic so the new spring had to be greatly compressed to attach. My mechanic said that they "risked their lives" to get the spring installed. I am thankful that they were sucessful.
