Tripp-Lite inverter shutting down flashing red

2011 roadtrek adventurous sprinter tripp-lite inverter
on or off shore power (110) tripp-lite shuts down and operation side red light is flashing ( overload condition)
even with all breakers including main off

and gfci breaker is popping
turning on gfci breaker with generator on shuts off generator
tried reset button
suggestions? thanks

Temporarily bypass (wire around) the GFCI and see if the issue remains. That will eliminate possible trouble with the breaker. If the problems clear up you have isolated the issue to the GFCI.

i thought i would let folks know fix -- it was the ground fualt pulg above the kitchen counter -- replaced that and all is fine -- thanks all for the help
