2014 Palazzo 33.2 Trade-In Value

We just got offered $100,000 to trade in our unit on a new Forza/Solei 36G. Ouch! Thor's bad reputation with these units is costing all of us a lot of money. That offer is only about two thirds of the original purchase price.

Guess we will have to live with the fear that the large slideout will fail at the most inopportune moment.

I believe if you got offered 100K you should jump on it!! It is only going to get worse. We have been offered as low as 85K!

Trade in numbers are not a good indicator. When I was shopping for my 36MQ I was given a range from a high or $165,000 to a low of $85,000. Shop around and see you gives you the best net difference for the same model.

Good luck with your Easter Egg hunt!

Click on the "Palazzo Motorhomes" icon on the Thor Owners Forum. Really interesting reading about slides.

Currently negotiating on a Tiffin 33AA, So far I got offered 115K for my coach with close to 18,000.0 miles. It's a matter of negotiating either end of deal. It's the bottom line of the cash out after the trade. Try to get cost of new coach lower. Besides being a Tiffin dealer, this dealer is also a Thor dealer too.
I have had no problems so far with single top track slide. But when will it fail is the question in my mind that is having me look elsewhere. Holding my breath everytime I extend and retract it is getting old and stressful.

Yes, Tiffin uses the same Schwintek slide mechanisms on their smaller non weight bearing bedroom slides. On the longer heavy slides they use hydraulics.

I just kills me to be looking because I really, really like my Palazzo and really enjoy the Thor Diesel Club Rallies. Also, have it all accessarized the way I want it too. I have had it since Nov of 2013 with a build date in Oct 2013. Thought it would be my last long owned reliable coach.

At least my toilet holds water in bowl now! LOL!

The whole scenrio of buying another coach basically sucks! But I am a little more educated coach owner this time around. Just my opinion.

Don
