Here are pictures of the gas shock on my entry door of our 2015 33.3 it has a company name as I think a part number. The company is in Elkhart so maybe give them a call for specs on it.

I took the gas strut off so that tge door would open fully and hold it open with a magnet. I could not find the advantage to having the gas shock on door. I am sure there are good reasons, but I like the full open door.

I got the strut from Amazon,
Amazon:

20 inch 20 lbs Gas Prop Lift Spring Rod Strut Heavy Duty Tool Box Lid Top RV
by Red Hound Auto.

Put on the entry door and the spring forces the door open at 20 lbs force and it swings out and stops when it reaches the end of its extension. I see lots of flex on the brackets when it stops. I felt this is not right, the brackets will break if this keeps up. The correct thing for the piston strut was to dampen the swing out with the air pressure in the rod and the piston. I will try to return it back to Amazon and take the $3.33 shipping back hit.

Will continue searching for another vendor that has the proper damping.

I called Thor and they gave me a THOR part number 0255503 or 5055RC Style. THOR said this is an internal THOR number and that I have to call a THOR dealer to get the part.
