2018 Palazzo 37.4

Hershey show has the debut of a new Palazzo model. It is a 37.4 and there is a video showing it on You Tube. It has some nice features.

Saw it yesterday. Only thing we didn't like was LP stovetop, should have been an induction cooktop.

We really liked this floor plan. Saw it today. Love the recliners across from TV.

A couple of pics. This one really looked great in the lighter Newport wood.

Nice big kitchen area too. I like this floor plan best among the current larger offerings in Palazzo.

I got excited when I saw this layout. However, it has the tilt a bed. It has to be tilted up to bring in the slides. Bummer when overnight parking and can't put the slides out.

Park sideways towards the grassy area and run the slide out on that side of coach. Plus I park pretty close to curb to keep distance from cars cruising by.
Tom taught me that!!! LOL

Will let everyone know how we like it as we pulled the trigger and bought one today. Shopped for three years and finally found exactly what we wanted. We felt the layout and features could not be beat for the price point. Production starts Feb 2 and delivery in mid March. Will try to go see it in production if we have time to.

I was watching the Thor walk thru video at the Tampa show and asked about the bed. The response was that it will lie flat with the slides in. [emoji41]

We were hoping to get the one in the video but it was already sold. They had an exact duplicate scheduled for production so we grabbed it. Don't mind the wait and it was good to make all the contacts with Thor employees, Adam and Matt were very helpful answering questions we had.

It looks nice, but have concerns about CCC and total GCWR. During the live stream from Tampa, the Thor reps say it has over 5K in remaining cargo capacity which sounds like a lot. However, with a GCWR (33k) that is only 2k more than the GVWR (31k), the cargo capacity is drastically smaller if towing a vehicle. For example if towing a 4.5k vehicle like the Jeep Cherokee we had, there would only be 2.5K left for cargo. This might be fine, but it is something to think about. Have no idea why a 10k hitch is installed on these.
