Added storage to my coach

Storage is at a premium on our 2015 33.3 Palazzo so I made a few changes to help make some more space.
I added a shelf in the basement storage area on the passenger side of our coach to hold our grill and it really helps.
I also made a plywood box for our 2 sewer hoses. I sealed it with a water based sealer & bolted it to the 3/8-16 tapped holes on the outside of DEF tank bracket . I saw a picture of this modification somewhere so I decided to give it a try, I might add another one on the back side of the DEF. tank also.

In our bathroom, there is a panel screwed in place below the sink to hide the heater ducting, water pipes and sink drain pipes . But really has some good usable space. It has a raised panel covering it just like the regular cabinet door panels in the coach.
I added European style hinges to the panel so we now have an additional cabinet. We now have lots of extra space in this. cavity.. I might try to add shelves in there also. I don’t have a finished picture of the door with the new hinges , but here is a picture of the area below the sink.

Here are some pictures of the changes.

Wow! Great ideas there I will definitely add a shelf in at least one compartment under our RV. I also like the hose storage. It is currently left in the bottom of the wet compartment which is otherwise shiny white and I would hate the mess. I will do that too.

I used 2 pieces of aluminum angle for the 3/8” thick plywood to sit on for the shelf.

I used 1/4” plywood and 2x2’s which I glued and screwed together to make the sewer hose storage box .

Nice work. Let me know how that box works. I have seen some fabricated metal shelves in the DEF bay. It gets so dirty in there I really don't want anything stored there but sewer type stuff. Great ideas.
Do you have a shelf on top of your propane tank? I have a full length shelf there and that is where all my sewer hoses are stored.
I am going to put hinges on that access panel under bathroom sink. Love it!
Thanks
Ed

On the 33.3 there is not a shelf above the propane tank. I coated the plywood box with many layers of sealer inside & out.

Agreed about the wet bay. Mine is nice and white and I don't want my stinky slinky rolling around it. I don't have space above the propane tank but I do have space on one end of that compartment so that is where the hose box will go.

Hello Ed,
Update on the boxes....

I made a 2nd Plywood box for the DEF tank bay last week. I coated the plywood inside & out with water based spar urethane. I then coated the outside of the boxes with rubberized undercoating. I think the wood will last a long time.

Awesome. I think it sounds great. I am not so handy with woodworking.

Here is my latest shelf install on my coach. It is in the front basement storage on the passenger side . I added a wire shelf from Home Depot testing on aluminum angle brackets on each side . I placed my tools in separate small plastic tool boxes. They are from from Home Depot also.

This could provide a wealth of information for full timers. Once I get some bugs out elsewhere I will post anything I do and perhaps it could snowball. With e 33'DP space underneath is at a premium. Thanks to the OP for this one.
