I stole Mister Ts picture as I have a leak off my Anderson water heater switch. Thank you Mister T. Quick question-----------
It's a pain in the rear to get behind the metal panel on my 2015 Palazzo 33.3. Is the fitting circled in green threaded such that I can get a wrench on the plastic female part (left) and tighten to see if that fixes the leak? I haven't seen a T like this before and I'm not sure how it works. I don't break the part.
On our last vacation I was able to wring a hand towel to handle the water leaking. However, I want to be leak free. As a couple of others have said, if I can't tighten this with a quick wrench and I need to tear this apart the "kantleak" kant be in the repair when I am done. thanks for the pictures, comments, and detail.

I had a leak in exact same place. You would have to disconnect 3 hoses from water heater bypass valve, remove it from the white plastic T, and add more Teflon tape there. Very easy after you removed the front panel.

Thanks all. I wrapped teflon tape on thick and appears all is well. I’m leaving it open for the night before I trust it enough to put it back tomorrow.

Anderson Valve gone! Repaired rotten floor in wet bay
Thanks Parks0412 for your detailed instructions in removing the leaky Anderson valve with a simple system. An incredibly inept system that is bound to leak! One tip for sealing a new floor - I purchased a 40 mil shower liner that I glued on top of 1/2 inch marine grade plywood. Also glued to the bottom of the plywood to prevent water damage from below. $35 at Home Depot. I raised the edges ~ 2 inches in the wet bay. Thus, this prevents leaking onto the new plywood if a leak develops. When I replaced the plywood I moved the fresh water tank ~ one foot toward the passenger side. This allowed me to remove all the water soaked rotten wood and cover with the liner. If your wet bay floor is "soft" this is a must do repair.

Hello Parks0412,
Great work, Thanks for all the pics.
I will soon be replacing my flooring in the wet bay and the pass thru bay with 5/8" Coosa Composite board soon. I will need to pull my water tank because most of the floor is rotten.
While I am doing this work, I will also make the same change to the water system.
Thanks again for the great write up !!!!!

Hello Mike,
I like your setup using the one valve.
I have a question about your drawing. What is the item in the blue circle on my drawing ?
Is the item circled in red the new valve ?

3-Way Lead Free Brass Ball Valve T-Full Port 1/2 NPT | Full Port Brass 3-Way Ball Valves | Valworx ®
Valve has 4 positions, but only 3 will be used: Fill, Normal, and Winterize. For City water supply valve will be in Winterize position and water will go directly through the check valve. Pump could be turned ON if needed to boost water pressure.
The water piping diagram will look like this. Please see if it make sense and please criticize the concept.
Thanks, Mike

I don't see where you reinstalled the faucet in the bay. Was there any reason to not reinstall it ?
Thanks,
Bob
