I didn't tape the bottom seal. But that's because I can see the water dripping down inside the coach on either side already behind the bottom seal. IOW, the leak is happening further up and is already behind the bottom seal.

Tape the seams on the side of the slide out room. These seams if missing sealant will only leak when the slide is out .

That is an excellent idea. I think I'm going to caulk all the slide side seams today and tomorrow. There's rain coming Wednesday and I can check the results.

Ok. I climbed up on a ladder and I've sealed every seam that I can find on the slide. Not with tape, but I actually sealed every seam with caulk. Most were already sealed, but some weren't. But, now they've all been sealed.

Thursday morning it is suppose to rain. I've got my fingers crossed.

The rain came and the rain went. It rained for more than 12 hrs. Unfortunately, because of the wind direction all the rain was directed at only one side of the leaky slide. The other side got no rain on it.

The side that got rained on always leaked, but only a very little. The side that really leaked a lot got no rain. :-(

So, the side that got rain still leaked, but very, very little. I don't know if that's a good sign or not.

It's suppose to rain again this Friday. I'll update the forum after that rain.
