Cab heat for 33.2

I read the 1 year old thread about the problem I have but there really wasn't a solution posted of how to solve the problem of the air conditioning coming on in the heat position except for the vent mode. Anybody have a answer to this problem. Thanks!!

Can you please explain "the problem" a little more clearly?
Thanks
Mel

Dometic Thermostat.pdf

We have a 2014 33.2 with a Dometic Thermostat (Manual attached)

I believe what you're hearing is the AC Fans (but not the AC compressors)coming on with the furnace .

At your thermostat do the following:

Press "ON/OFF Mode" button until green "Fan" LED is lit; If the LCD shows "Lo" or "Hi" then the AC Fan is set to activate with the furnace.

Press the "+" or "-" button until the LCD shows "Auto"; The AC fan will no longer activate with the furnace. (See attachment page 9, under "Furnace"-Furnace Mode)

I just realized that you're probably not talking about the roof AC. Sorry for jumping in.

I thought I had explained it ok but guess not. The dash heat when put in any other heat mode except the vent mode causes the air conditioner to kick in also. Meaning, I am running the air conditioning when in a heat mode and don't want to. Maybe this is a bit clearer, there was a thread discussing this about 9 months ago in the Palazzo forum but I did not read of a solution. Thanks for the help!!

It is made that way just like your car to provide more of a controlled heat. Rather then cooking you to death.

Nothing to worry about. But if you want you can disconnect the A/C wiring off the compressor. Doing that tho you will have crappy windshield fog clearing.

Hope this helps!

It's about dehumidifying the air coming through the system - especially in defrost mode.
