City Water Connection Plumbing

Getting ready for my first adventure away from home. Went to fill the fresh water tank, connected water hose, rotated valve to "City Fill Tank" - nothing happened. Selected "Sanitize/Winterize and the fresh water tank began filling. I don't suppose there is any way to know where the hose connections on the back of this valve should be such that all positions work as designed?

You can not hear it filling. Put a pencil mark on the tank wall and watch it. You should see the level increasing slowly.

Actually, I can operate all functions on the selector valve - its just that what happens is not what is written on the placard. My problem seems to be that the plumbing is not connected to the correct ports on the back of the valve.

When I had my Palazzo I couldn't read the small print on that selector very well. So I just took a black marker and printed on the white background what I wanted.

Put whatever you would want so you understand it and you are good to go.
