Commode overflowing... : /
Anybody have their comode overflow or the water decide to continue running even with the foot lever up?
...fortunately I caught ours about the time it started happening, but can't seem to see how to get to the 'guts' to see what the problem might be...
also, I noticed that their is no 'cut off' to the unit - what??

Your toilet water supply module is not shutting off after you let foot pedal up.
Either cable needs replaced, or linkage is out of whack or module is worn out
And YES......rarely do mfg.s install a shutoff valve on toilet installs.
Cheap SOBs
List the brand/model of toilet for better info. Lots of models...all different
Thetford Aqua Magic/Bravo etc.
Dometic/SeeLand 300 series, Traveler etc

I had the same thing happening but was able to make it shut off by pushing the foot lever then sliding my foot aside to allow lever to forcefully snap up. Ultimately Thor repaired it at the 2014 Rally. They ordered the "valve" plus a whole new toilet simultaneously, with the intention of using whichever arrived first. The toilet arrived first.

Here is a video on how to replace water valve.
It is a 'cartridge' that snaps into place on backside of foot pedal assembly
Here is parts list & exploded view of 300 Series (300/310/320)

$30 or so.......probably a stocked item at RV Store

actually, I was wrong, it's a Thetford AquaMagic StyleII...
I stopped by CW in mid Missouri and they were not only helpful in calling another local parts store to try to help me find the 'Vacuum Breaker' unit, but wound up finding a used model in their service department and gave me the replacement unit from it.
It looks like it works, so far...
and... since I had to remove the toilet in order to replace it, I also added an inline water 'shut off' valve, just in case this ever happens again.

the Vacuum Breaker, at the top rear of the toilet, was apparently the correct part to replace to correct the 'continuous flow' of water into the toilet. It hasn't happened again since.... nice to know.
this is probably an inexpensive part, but might be hard to find on-the-shelf at a parts store. and while it's relatively easy to replace, with just the removal and reattachment of a water line, it's pretty tough to get to when the toilet is mounted so close to the wall, though removing the toilet to get to it is actually not too hard - two bolts is all.

Crap, I just pulled out my Sealand and replaced all of the seals. Wish I had thought of installing a shutoff valve while I had it all apart. May do that anyway.

I had one go bad and called Dometic and they overnighted one to me free of charge a couple of years ago.
