Keeps most junk off the toad. I also added a set of flaps behind the duallies as recommended by DuraFlap.

Tom,

I have not added the flaps behind the duals yet. Do you have some photos of the installation?

Thanks!
Jack

DuraFlap made some new changes to the Palazzo mud flap. We have changed the weight to be 4" tall instead of 6" tall. This way we are able to make the mud flap a little shorter. It now allows you to either stay with the clevis hanger design, and have an additional 1" of clearance from the ground; or use a D Ring instead of the clevis which allows for a little more swing.
In case you do not know already, the installation does require that you turn the muffler hanger 180 degrees to clearance.

Hey Nina,

I see you got mine done much faster than expected. Did you send Total Value instructions for installation? Also those latest posts are the first I heard about flaps in the wheel well. Are you recommending that as well?

Hi Bob,

I did complete the Palazzo instructions, and I believe they are in your kit. If not, let me know and I will send them. You will have more than enough hardware with them.
We always recommend that you first have mud flaps behind the duallys. They will stop about 80% of the rocks right there. The front fender wells are also a great idea to protect all that is vulnerable under the coach. They need to be wide enough and long enough. We did not notice when we were in Gillette, that the Palazzo did not have any.
If you have a storage cabinet behind each set of duallys, the install can be fairly easy. You will want to use caulking and large washers to keep water from finding it's way into the compartment. Many customers use flat bar across the top to take some of the weight off the compartment walls, depending on what they are made of. It works even better if there is any kind of bracket in the fender well to attach them to.

Install looks great! How was the install? Did you need to lift the MH to get a drill/screw driver in there? Is this a DIY? The space looks a bit tight to get any tools in there...
