Furnace and air conditioner both on?

Has anyone experienced putting on the furnace and then the air conditioner comes on at the same time as the furnace?

Half way thru our last trip, we experienced this problem.

Anyone have any ideas? The only thing I can think of is that the propane is low, but still has enough to light the furnace and the stove...

Are you sure that the A/C compressor is coming on. It could be that its just the fan you are hearing and if that is the case the fan option on your thermostat is set to either hi or low and not automatic.

Set your thermostat to AU and not HI or LO. That will keep the ac fan from running when using the furnace.

Wow, must admit that was a brain fart! 7th year motor-homing in a class A and forgot something so simple. If I wasn't so relieved, I'd be embarrassed.

That's what I love about this site. You guys are great!!
