Has anybody NOT had trouble with slide

I Looking to buy a 2013 Thor Palazzo 33.1
from Lazy Days in Florida
Trading in my 2007 gas Georgetown

I'm worried about this slide Issue
Is this what I got to look forward too?
Is there something to ask the Dealer to do to
to avoid the problem.

slide

I have had trouble with both my slides.I would put a framing square on the walls of the motorhome and make sure the slideout opening were cut square and slides as well.

I have a 2014 33.1 and have not had any slide issues. Tcopeland had an issue (2013 33.1) which was taken care of at Elkhart. Maybe he will elaborate on his issue. Most of the slide issues have been with the longer slides.

I have a 2014... 33.2 and have had no slide issues. All slide rails still look pristine. Knocking on wood.

I have a 2013 33.2 (Born Jan 2013) and have NOT had any slide issues. I've got over 22K on it, not a full timer but I use it a ton.

I don't think it is a minority that don't have problems, there are plenty of us that have had no problems. My slide is over a year old, 13,000 miles and the slide bars are still pristine. For those that have had problems it is a major issue and I totally understand that, but I think the minority are those that have had the problem.

I'm from the toy hauler world and there is strong agreement that the Schwintek slides you are all talking about are junk. I have that system on my Voltage and I'll never buy another rv with that slide system.

33.1 with no problems so far. Bedroom slide definitely goes out faster, quieter and with less strain than the larger one but no issues.

If you're concerned, run (don't walk) away. There are lots of other brands out there.

With over 150 names listed under the Palazzo owners thread and only a handful of owners responding to the OP I can't see where you can claim the owners without a slide issue are in the minority.
