hooking up solar panel(s) to the existing wires

I tried to post this on the thread where this discussion was already started, but the 355 day limit prohibited that.

I have a 2017 Palazzo 33.2

I found the 10 gauge orange/black wire & 10 gauge white wire taped off in the return of the rear air conditioner. I still have a couple of questions on this because I am considering installing 2 100 watt panels before the prices go through the roof with the new tariffs being considered.

1) How are the orange/black wires connected to the exterior solar panel(s)?

2) Where do the 10 gauge orange/black wire and 10 gauge white wire come out below?

Pictures would be good if available.

You have a brand new rig; Call the factory.

You need not only the panels but the other end of those wires need a controller before connecting to the batteries . You found the roof ends I guess but where are the other ends of those wires? The factory( if they in fact did the install ) can answer those questions best.

typically when you order panels they will come with dedicated wiring with special hookups for running several together, a parallel string I believe, which connects to your wiring up top.... your wires provided by Thor, usually terminating in the Inverter bay, will connect to your Solar CONTROLLER... the Controller then connects via two wires to the battery bank.
If you order a 'package' of 2 panels and a controller, you'll find that you have all you need.

wire location

I think that the wires do terminate in the bay where the inverter is. The wires for the most part are covered by wire looms that can be a pain to find a wire in. I think I have that solved. I have a cheapy tone generator & wire tracer coming. Then I should be able to narrow down where the wires are.
