Hi everyone,
Hope all had a great weekend. I had a little problem with our RV.Has anyone had low hot water pressure at there kitchen sick. It is good at bathroom sink and shower.
When you first turn it on it runs fine then it works it way down to a real slow stream. I took the hot water line off the faucet and ran it in a bucket and it did the same thing. It looks like it has that hard red tubing all the way to heater. It has done this before when we first got it in 2016 and it cleared up worked fine till now.
Thanks for any help,
Terry

I'd check that all winterizing valves to by-pass the WH are set correctly. The fact that you don't have an issue at other faucets is puzzling. Have you removed and flushed out the aerator on the faucet? Also, when the RV was put in service this year, did the WH get flushed out before inserting the drain plug? Over winter an empty heater tank can dry out, deposits come loose, and foul the check valves. A flush with vinegar will dissolve mineral deposits.
On our Palazzo and Venetian the hot water at the sink is slower than elsewhere. However, when mixing some cold with the hot, as you would normally do, the flow is fine. I believe this is the nature of the beast.

That is my experience as well. While the OP said he thought the plumbing was PEX all the way on his coach, on the Palazzo and Venetian series the kitchen sink is in a slide and the small flexible line that is needed to accommodate the movement has a higher friction loss than the rigid PEX. Thor's water system build is "designed" for production speed. Where flex lines are used they are often longer than needed thus increasing the friction loss, so one place you might improve flow is to look for excess flex lines and replace with a shorter line.
Well I found out why my hot water at the sink was not working. Had to pull the refrigerator out to fix the hose that was kinked up. This was the second hose I found like this. Fixed a whole lot of other things back there too. Now I have lots of water pressure.
