Leveler Pads

The reduced width portion gives me a hand hold to slide the pad into place. It is an easy DIY project. Below are pictures of the original pad I made ten years ago and one that I made recently. I finally remembered the sequence to show a picture from Photobucket. That did not fix my misspelling of pads in the thread subject. The subject cannot be edited.
J Walker you should patent your design. I made the base parts this evening. I am not sure if I will put the second layer or not. I probably will if I get time before I leave.
Cost was a little over $ 11.00 for a 10 foot 2x10.
Thanks

Your pads look good. I have a suggestion that you add the second layer of 2" wood. It adds more than thickness, it adds strength due the the wood grain being at right angles. I feel sure that the single thickness will crack with the weight of the MH. I expect the design would not qualify for a patent but it surely is nice to share. BTW my pads have not cracked in over ten years of use.

You spoke I listened. My original one layer ones were meant to be lighter and was a bit dictated by the 11" clearance on the band saw. Well if I am going to add weight I might as well add base size as well, so the end result looks a lot like your old ones. Thanks for the advice.
