Looking at 2016 36.1 - Feedback?

Hi All,
We are starting research on 36.1. Would love to get feedback from those that have driven or own. The other coach we are considering is a Newmar Ventana.

Would love to know the good, bad and the ugly..

thanks!

We drove the 36.1, but ended up buying a 33.2, partially because of the lower weight and length but actually largely because of the location of the television. Just didn't like looking up at the TV over the door. In any event, we've found our Palazzo to be pretty solid and capable, particularly at the price. I'd suggest buying a low mileage used one, in the $120k range, but make sure it has the triple track on the large slide and the frameless windows.

No bad or ugly here! Drives like a dream and have not had any major problems. Knock on wood!

It came down to layout for us. We find the rear bath more spacious and more convenient for an early riser to shower and dress without disrupting the late sleeper. The only improvement would be an opposing slide in the living area. That's is another coach and more money. The new coaches have a larger tv in the living area. We love the coach

I looked for a couple of years. It all came down to the rear bath and open floor plan. Drives real nice and smooth ride.

Welcome to the forum and to the group of Palazzo owners! If you haven't already done so, check out the Thor Diesel Club's website here, Home and be sure and join TDC. Thor will pay for your first year's membership in the club but you have to fill out the paperwork and submit it to them. Here is a link: https://thormotorcoach.com/thordieselclub

Did you make it out this past weekend to see the Thor Palazzo 36.1? If so, what do you think?

We LOVE ours! We haven't had any issues and love our floor plan. We didn't see many Palazzos in SoCal while we were at the beach, but got a ton of complements!
Good luck with your purchase, whatever it is!
