We added a drawer front, with a slide out removable cutting board. The face had to be cut down some. The cooktop will be directly above this drawer.

3) What make/model did you select for the induction cooktop?
Thank you, Glenn. Looks like a great project.

Wow! I have been following this thread for weeks and finally got to the end. Some of the mods I followed and some I had already done on my own. I bought a handfull of these a few years ago and have used up most. they are ideal for air horn solenoid. From lower left dashboard I installed small on/off switch from horn wire to switch to relay signal. The stock horn will beep with the air horn, but you'll never hear it!
The store is "Surplus Center" and I have used electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment from them for years and never had a failure.

Big_Boy , the Corian color is Amber Glow. Apparently the original color is no longer made. This color appears a bit lighter than the original, not a big deal to us.

How is it going to be wired into your existing box? Will it be on a separate circuit? You will be drawing 18 amps (I think) on the induction cooktop.

I looked at doing the same to my XTE But there wasn't a spare circuit and I didn't want to compromise my existing wiring. I couldn't see how Icould get it to work on my rig.

Took out the outlet and relocated that the subwoofer was plugged in to, which never worked anyway. Test with both burners and seemed okay.

Added New Triple Trumpet Polished Chrome Electric Tri Cord Air Horn Trucker Train LOUD | eBay air horn yesterday. Large with a great sound. I used air supply from the manifold. I used the wires from the existing horn. No need for relays or other switches. Awesome sound. Also added Cobra CB and antenna. Ready for the road now.

I've been thinking about installing an air horn too. How difficult is is to install? Can you take photos of the connections or provide any other resource to explain how this can be installed? Thanks.

Where and how did you mount the antenna and run the wires? Did you take pictures? Been wanting to do the same thing.

Mounted to the drivers column between windshield and drivers window. Remove the screws from the column on the inside and fish the antenna cable down to the drivers left side. Pm me if you need pictures.
