Question Pilot Out light on (?)

my PILOT OUT red light under the WaterHeater switches was on the other morning. Since I only had the Electric switch in use, this didn't make any sense.

I checked the manual/paperwork and found nothing about a standing pilot for either the WaterHeater or even for the Furnace, they both use an electric start pilot that is used only when needed.

Anybody know what this light really means, and what to do if it does come on?
Mine eventually went off, but I have no reason why.

Atwood water heater?

If so.that is a 'Fault' light

Comes on under 3 conditions
1) Propane failed to light off and PROVE flame.........3 attempts to light off and prove main flame then will lock out and fault light comes on.
2 & 3) ECO (high temp t-stat) OPENED when operating on 2)Propane or 3) Electric
Anytime ECO OPEN fault light comes on. ECO operates when normal t-stat fails to shut down heating at 140*F (ECO set for 180*F).
If ECO operates it is a 'fault' of normal t-stat

ECO will 'auto' reset at 150*F ------water temp cools enough ECO recloses

To reset Fault light turn On/Off switch Off then back on. If fault condition is cleared water heater will reheat.

Suburban......
Fault light when propane fails to light off and prove
High temp t-stat OPENS.......you have to manually reset
Push to Reset on rubber cover in outside compartment....left side top Electric, right side top Propane
